A familiar name. A new chapter. From original Switchfast founder Matt Owen
Switchfast. The next chapter.
What’s old is new again.
Back in 2000, we were helping businesses get connected to the Internet. Today, we’re bringing AI to those same customers—and helping MSPs lead the next rollout under their own brands.
The technology has changed. The job is familiar: make it useful, help people adopt it, and be there when they need you.
The name is back. The work never stopped.01 / The opportunity
Your customers turn to you for IT, cloud, and cybersecurity. AI is the next conversation—and many business owners need help knowing where to begin.
Switchfast.AI helps you turn that conversation into a defined offering, a repeatable delivery process, and an ongoing service relationship.
Start with the customers who already know and trust your team.
Bring AI to market as a natural extension of your own services.
Give your team a clear way to assess, implement, and support AI.
02 / The offering
We work with you to develop the commercial and delivery foundations of your AI practice. A practical system your people can put to work.
Shape your positioning, offering scope, assessment package, and sales conversation around the needs of your customers.
Build an assessment that identifies useful workflows, readiness gaps, and a practical path to ChatGPT Business implementation.
Develop rollout playbooks, governance guidance, and employee training that help your team move from recommendations to adoption.
Define the support, administration, adoption reviews, and continuous improvement that form your Managed AI offering.
A guided practice-development engagement. Scope and commercial terms are shaped around your team, customers, and delivery capacity.
Guide the practice design, shape the methodology and materials, and help your team turn pilot learning into repeatable delivery.
Name a practice lead, bring customer and systems knowledge, assign sales and technical participants, and own the customer relationship.
We agree on delivery ownership, outside support, and the developer escalation route before a pilot begins.
These illustrative formats show the kind of working records we develop together. They are examples from the methodology in development, not completed customer results.
A valid conclusion may be “prerequisites first.” The assessment determines whether a ChatGPT Business rollout is appropriate.
The example and acceptance criteria are defined for the customer’s agreed scope.
New integrations and workflow development are scoped separately from routine support unless the engagement includes them.
03 / From idea to operation
The first customer journey centers on ChatGPT Business adoption. Establish the foundation, learn through a pilot, and expand as your team is ready.
Choose your first customer profile, shape the offer, and establish who sells and delivers it.
Output: A service definition and responsibility map.
Assess a small group of customers, confirm suitability, and plan their first useful AI workflows.
Output: A scoped pilot with prerequisites and success criteria.
Roll out ChatGPT Business, train employees, and measure adoption and workflow outcomes.
Output: Tested workflows, user guidance, and recorded lessons.
Refine the playbooks, equip your team, and build the ongoing Managed AI service.
Output: Updated playbooks and an agreed support handoff.
Responsible use, data handling, employee guidance, and ongoing oversight belong in the practice from the beginning. Your cybersecurity experience provides a natural bridge.
The platform focus / ChatGPT + Codex
Our framework focuses entirely on ChatGPT and Codex. Your customer buys a practical path from “we should be using AI” to a workflow people can use, understand, and get help with.
Adopt / ChatGPT Business
Start with the AI Readiness & Opportunity Assessment. Establish suitable workflows, approved information, workspace responsibilities, and employee guidance before a rollout.
Method: Teach employees to provide context, check outputs, and repeat the task.
Create / Codex
Use Codex to help build and revise software, run tests, and review code. Scope a small business problem, then develop a reviewable prototype with your technical team.
Method: Define acceptance criteria, test with sample data, and assign maintenance ownership.
Operate / Your MSP
The subscription is one part of the solution. Your practice supplies the assessment, implementation, training, security review, and ongoing support process.
Method: Agree on scope and escalation before the pilot becomes a managed service.
These are proposed workflow examples, not completed customer results. ChatGPT can help draft, summarize and analyze; Codex can help edit code and use development tools. Outputs need review. See OpenAI’s ChatGPT guide ↗ and Codex documentation ↗.
ChatGPT Business includes access to ChatGPT and Codex, subject to plan limits. Available features, workspace settings and additional usage can affect scope and cost. API-key usage is billed separately. Confirm customer subscriptions, extra credits, third-party tools and any hosting before quoting. Switchfast’s practice-development services are scoped separately; no software resale margin or OpenAI partnership is assumed. Current OpenAI plans and usage ↗ (reviewed September 29, 2026).
Planned workshops / Show the work
Practical sessions for MSP owners and the people who will deliver their AI practice. These sessions are in development; dates and registration are not yet available.
Planned / One-hour demo
Follow a fictional service business from a written brief to a landing-page prototype, a simple inquiry form, and a launch checklist. Review what works and what still needs a human decision.
One hour describes the session. Legal setup, security review, deployment and a successful business take additional work.
I’m interested ↗Planned / Guided walkthrough
Walk through a sample assessment, choose one employee workflow, draft responsible-use guidance, and build a first-user training exercise. Leave with a clearer way to scope the customer conversation.
I’m interested ↗Planned / MSP working session
Use a fictional MSP scenario to connect assessment demand, implementation effort, recurring support and capacity. See which assumptions make the model work—and which ones need pilot evidence.
Try the ROI planner ↗Before you scale / Run the numbers
How many customers might buy? What does delivery really cost? Start with a quick estimate, then connect your practice brief to a detailed monthly scenario.
Use your own fees and costs. Compare conservative, base and upside demand, check delivery capacity, and download a brief for discussion.
Local calculations. Editable assumptions. No promised returns.
04 / The original founder. The next chapter.

An operator’s mindset. A founder’s energy.
And, yes, a little Luck of the Irish.
Before AI was the conversation, Matt Owen was already helping business owners make sense of the next big thing.
Matt founded Switchfast Technologies in 2001 and bootstrapped it to approximately $10 million in peak annual sales and $50 million in cumulative revenue. The company earned eight consecutive Inc. 5000 appearances before its eventual sale to Ascend Technologies.
That experience lives in the details MSP owners recognize: earning a customer’s trust, building a team that can deliver, and turning new technology into a service people keep paying for.
Matt also founded MeetBall, which sold in 2017. His work in professional sports took him to Wicket and Haslam Sports Group, where he helped bring AI-powered facial authentication to Cleveland Browns and Columbus Crew fans. He has spent more than three decades building companies, advising leaders, and getting technology into people’s hands.
Today, Matt is reviving the brand with Switchfast.AI: a new chapter focused on helping MSPs build their own AI practices. It draws on his ongoing work in AI, software, and the FastTrack execution methodology—and on relationships that go back to the Internet rollout.
Same instinct: ask the hard questions, translate the technical answers, and stay through implementation. The goal is a practice your team can sell, deliver, and manage long after the first project.
We never left. We’re just getting started on what’s next.

A few practical questions
Yes. Your customer-facing AI offering carries your brand. Switchfast.AI helps you develop the methodology, materials, and delivery approach behind it. Licensing and any attribution are defined in the engagement.
You need a team willing to own the practice. We start by understanding your current capabilities, identifying delivery gaps, and defining where training or implementation support is needed.
The starting offer is a guided practice-development engagement. We work with you on the offering, assessment, playbooks, enablement, and operating model. A software platform is not required to begin.
The intended model routes basic AI usage questions through your helpdesk, with a defined developer escalation path. We work through the documentation, technician guidance, and handoff your team needs. Coverage, response commitments, and escalation ownership are agreed as part of the engagement.
You get a discussion brief to review, download, and share with Matt. The first conversation establishes your starting point, team responsibilities, and a useful initial scope. These questions help plan your MSP’s AI practice; it is separate from the AI assessment you would offer SMB customers.
Scope and pricing depend on the offering you want to launch, the pilot scope, your team’s delivery capacity, and the implementation and training support required. We use the first conversation to define those requirements, then agree on scope and commercial terms. Software licensing and ongoing support are addressed explicitly in that scope.
